When We Finally Meet

When We Finally Meet

I feel her say hello,
During my morning start,
I feel her say I love you,
When she presses near my heart,
I feel her say stop being sad,
When she kicks against my side,
It’s her way to tell me everything is okay,
After I have cried,
I feel her trying to walk up my belly,
When she moves her little feet,
And I can’t wait until that special day,
When we finally meet.

I feel her say she’s scared,
When she jumps from a loud sound,
I feel her stretch her arms and legs,
As soon as I lay down,
I feel her toss and turn,
After I toss and turn myself,
I feel her precious heart beat,
And I’m thankful for good health,
I feel her move the most,
When its time for me to eat,
And I can’t wait for that special day,
When we finally meet.

I feel her tiny hiccups,
At anytime during the day,
I feel when she is stressed,
We listen to music to take it away,
I feel her dance the most,
When songs have more base,
I feel her head graze across my stomach,
When she wants to find a cozy place,
I feel her stop moving the most,
When her dad lays his warm hand to greet,
And I can’t wait for that special day,
When they finally meet.

I feel that all she knows is Love,
And I want to keep that in her bubble,
I feel her happy little movements,
When life to her is nowhere near a struggle,
She talks to me with her hands, her head and her tiny feet,
She tells me that she loves her mom and dad,
And she can’t wait for that special day,
When we all finally meet.
